摘要:The study of sports injuries and their relationship to physical, psychological and sociological variables have been studied from different perspectives, but the results have been contradictory in many occasions. The severity of an injury to a player may cause major disorders in a team structure. The aim of our study was to establish the severity of sports injuries occurred in a season many teams from different competitive levels, types and at what point in the season are more pronounced these injuries and how they relate to the variables of gender, age, competitive level and phase of the season. In the present study aims to determine the problem, studying football players, handball and field hockey (N=229) using a questionnaire designed specifically for this type of athletes. The results showed that about half of the participants indicate that they are injured during the competitive period and that this is often severe (more than a month out) and mostly affects professional and amateur; The study also ruled that they hurt more than they, that football injuries are more numerous than in the amateur and professional athletes are more disabling these pathologies.
