摘要:The aims of this study are: a) to analyze the technical and tactical handball players preferences by sport performance; b) know what are the favourites handball players exercises by sport performance. For that purpose a selective study was developed in U-14 and U-16 categories, both male and female, who participated in the Championship of Spain Handball by territorial selections in 2012. They divided the players into two groups: a.) Players belonging to teams that finished in the top four; b) the players of the teams that failed in the first phase. We used like instrument “Preferences and Satisfaction Questionnaire in handball players”. The most significant results showed that: a) the action that players most like to execute in both groups is the shot; b) b) Players from both groups prefer to be on offense than defense; c) players perceive that the play phase they like their coaches is to defend; d) certain defensive actions receive a high score of satisfaction among players, this may be due to perception players have about what it is they like their coaches; e) Players of the teams that were in the top four show greater satisfaction with the performance of certain actions more complex than players who did not pass the first stage; f) both sets of players prefer situations "1 x goalkeeper" and global game situations; g) players of the top four prefer situations numerical of equality “1x1” and situations “1x0”. These data can be used to adapt the teaching-learning handball process to the preferences of young athletes and greater adherence to practice and greater satisfaction.
