  • 摘要:Objective: To compare the functional movement, balance, jump and flexibility performances of soccer players according to gender and injury history. Material and Methods: A total of 35 volunteer soccer players, 17 female and 18 male, playing in Pamukkale University soccer team participated in this study. Performance evaluations of athletes were performed with the following tests: functional movement evaluation; functional motion screening test, balance performance; Y balance test, jump performance; one-leg standing long jump test and vertical jump test and flexibility with closed kinetic dorsiflexion ROM test. Results: It was observed that there was no significant difference between the functional movement screening test scores and all performance parameters according to the injury history (p>0.05). Significant differences were found in the jump scores, in the posteromedial and posterolateral values of both extremities of Y balance test, in the jump performance and trunk stability push-up test results in favor of male players and in the flexibility values detected with closed kinetic dorsiflexion angle in favor of women (p<0.05). Conclusion: Injury history in soccer players does not affect their functional movement, dynamic balance, jumping performance. In addition, gender is an important factor in some parameters of dynamic balance, affecting flexibility, core strength and jump performance.
