摘要:This article shows the research results related to the preparation of educational institutions to carry out virtual academic activities with the quality with which they were carried out face to face. The objective describes the assessment that public educational institutions from pre-school to middle school in Colombia have to carry out virtual academic activities in the framework of the COVID-19 pandemic. A descriptive study was carried out by applying a survey to managers, teachers, administrative staff, students, parents or caregivers of institutions of the object of study. The research revealed that 94.6% do not have virtual training and think that more training in the use of new technologies is needed. The initial hypothesis is concluded, that there is no adequate preparation to carry out virtual academic activities.
