  • 摘要:This research addresses the coexistence of human beings in society between the different stages of psychic development and highlights the importance of emotional intelligence for the elderly, emphasizes different actions to encourage it and thus learn various ways of managing anxiety, anger and sadness in the Third Age. In addition, the experience of the Municipal University Branch (FUM) of Unión de Reyes is socialized, particularly in the groups of the University Chair for the Elderly (CUAM) as members of the Project "Reborn of the Elderly", where they work with the aspiration to guarantee physical and mental health, in spaces that achieve motivation and favor quality of life. Through this original research article, it is possible to reflect on the need for the elderly to be useful, learn new topics, teach their knowledge, transmit their experiences and feel recognized for the benefit they bring to the family and the community.
