摘要:The present work is the product of ongoing social activity derived from the follow-up on the development of the Program Peraj adopt a Friend of the Autonomous University of Baja California. The actors studied are friends, tutors, parents, and teachers. This is a longitudinal study aims to review the footprint of participation in the program through the following categories: social skills, adolescent cognitive development and academic, sports and social achievements in friends-Peraj, professional competencies in tutors, and the social scenario through the parents of children inside in their environment, in this case, the border Mexico-United States of America. As conclusions, we can point out the significant progress around the main goal, which is to reduce school dropouts, the positive incidence of the Peraj Program on tutors, the impact on the community in general through the community rescue of public spaces, the mutual benefit between tutors and friends through the relationship of friendship and accompaniment. Therefore, it is affirmed that it is possible, by performing mentoring by accompaniment, to promote social, cultural, individual identities in order to improve the possibilities of performance of friends.
