  • 摘要:This paper deals with some scientific advances achieved in disciplines such as Archaeology, Anthropology, Ethnology, Linguistics, Historiography, among others. It takes into consideration the criteria of outstanding researchers, both national and foreign, who have approached the subject. The research highlights the importance of the didactic treatment of the ethnohistorical-aboriginal component in the teaching-learning process of Cuban History in Basic Secondary Education; emphasizing the importance of students' participation in the reconstruction of facts, their identification with cultural traditions, national and local heritage, as well as the importance of developing research activities that contribute to the curriculum of the subject History of Cuba. Its objective is to contribute to the improvement of the teaching-learning process of this subject in the ninth grade, through the treatment of this component. For its development, it was based on the materialistic conception of History, the didactic conception of Integral Social History and other theoretical postulates that allow determining the existing relationship between teaching, learning, as well as the development of the personality of Basic Secondary School students. It offers actions for the treatment in the teaching-learning process of Cuban History in Basic Secondary Education and therefore demonstrates the feasibility of this proposal in the increase of motivation and knowledge of students about the aboriginal legacy to our material and spiritual culture.
