摘要：In Colombia, education has the primary purpose of contributing to development, following the policies of international organizations that advocate for the inclusion of absolutely all social sectors in the market and advise a single, mandatory, and universal education system. However, the challenges that need to be overcome in terms of education is not what rural communities want. To investigate the appropriate education purposes for rural Colombian communities, it is proposed to think about the environmentalization of education. Methodologically, a critical analysis of the modern educational model and development orientations was carried out. It was found that a transition to good living is necessary. It was found that a transition to good living is necessary. It is concluded that, despite being assumed that education is the means for entry into the productive sector, a commitment to overcoming it is to consider environmentalizing education, that is, to conceive it in pursuit of purposes for good living.
