标题:Let's Talk about Health: Engaging College Students with Intellectual and/or Developmental Disabilities and Support Staff in Conversations about Health and Wellness Needs
摘要:This study explored the health experiences and health promotion needs of college students with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities (IDD) through individual interviews with current college seniors (n = 5) and recent college graduates (n = 3) with IDD, and support staff (n = 9) within a Southeastern universityâs inclusive postsecondary education (IPSE) program. Interviews with college seniors and recent graduates with IDD involved photo elicitation and a que-sorting exercise. Interviews with IPSE program staff involved reactions to the que-sorting results of the interviewees with IDD. Thematic findings from current college seniors/recent college graduates with IDD and IPSE program staff are discussed.
