摘要:Formal education pervades several spaces and paths, and especially in the contemporary context, the New Technologies of Information and Communication (NTIC's) are closely related to the teaching-learning process. In this sense, this article aims to show the advantages and disadvantages of using technology in the teaching-learning process currently used in Brazil, considering the new reality imposed since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic. The methodology used was a bibliographic review of published works and articles about the use of technological resources in education. The results found show that there was a change in the school routine, which required teachers, students and educational institutions to adapt to the new model of non-presential teaching. This panorama brought significant changes to the teaching-learning process. The use of technological resources in school spaces is highlighted, which is seen as positive, as the literature demonstrates that the application of technologies in the classroom is able to positively influence the teaching-learning process, however it addresses the importance of the figure of teacher as a mediator of this entire process.
