  • 摘要:The teaching of Cell Biology is of great importance, as it comprises the basic biological processes that participate in the composition, formation and functioning of living beings. Thus, it is essential that the teacher develops pedagogical alternatives that facilitate the teaching-learning process. Thus, the use of active methodologies based on the use of Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs) stands out, arousing interest and promoting change in the individual's behavior, making them the main protagonists of their learning process. Thus, the present study aimed to analyze the applicability of a quiz, on the Kahoot platform, as an evaluative tool in the discipline of Cell Biology. For the application of the Quiz on the Kahoot platform, the CJUR / UFOPA computer lab was used, with 25 students from the Agronomy course. The result obtained shows us a percentage greater than 50% of correct answers in all the teams, thus demonstrating that the students were committed and involved with the proposed activity. Confirming that active methodologies contribute to greater engagement and interest, promoting commitment in the teaching-learning process, facilitating learning.
