摘要：The study seeks to reflect on the guidelines and orientations of the national policy of organ donation, as well as to describe the variables involved in the procedure together with the performance of nursing professionals, focusing on the organizational structure of the State of Roraima. This is a descriptive exploratory research with a qualitative approach, where data collection was made through a systematic review of literature in LILACS (Latin American and Caribbean Literature on Health Sciences), SciELO (Scientific Electronic Library Online) and VHL (Virtual Health Library) databases, as well as official documents from the Ministry of Health and other competent institutions, available electronically. Subsequently, the data were grouped and exposed in tables. The research provided a situational diagnosis of the State of Roraima, with the differential approach of the role of nursing in this area of performance, in view of the fact that this professional is involved continuously in patient care and their families, in order to clarify the anxieties and doubts about organ donation in all its processes.
