摘要:Currently, there is a negligence in relation to the teaching of plants. The teaching of botany has been worked in a traditional and memoristic way, which has increasingly hindered the students' learning about plants, consequently intensifying botanic blindness. Both students and teachers have an aversion to the contents of botany, making the teaching-learning process more difficult than usual. The present work aims to analyze, through a systematic review of the literature, the teaching-learning process of botany in Basic Education, as well as to analyze the influence of the use of different methodologies on the students' learning. The analysis of the selected papers showed that the use of differentiated methodologies, which are not traditional, increases the students' engagement and interest in botany, besides facilitating the acquisition and understanding of botanical knowledge. It is considered that the change in the teaching process of Botany can reflect positively on the students learning.
