摘要:This study aimed to describe the strengths and weaknesses of child and adolescent health in the perception of Physical Education teachers at a university in Ceará. Study participants comprised 13 teachers. For this, the interviews were carried out individually and following the semi-structured interview model, due to the subjectivity of the questions that were analyzed. First, the participants' data was collected, then the recorded interview was carried out. In addition to Minayo's thematic analysis, the IRAMUTEQ software was used. The result was a total of 13 texts with 771 number of occurrences, 267 number of shapes, with the number of hapax, which are words that appear only once, 174 (22.57% of occurrences - 65.17% of shapes) and with an average of occurrences per text of 59.31. It is concluded with the realization of this research, the fragility of the theme child and adolescent health by the perception of the teachers of the degree course in Physical Education at the State University of Ceará. The results demonstrated the subjectivity in dealing with this subject in the disciplines. It is considered, therefore, that despite the results indicating that the teachers knew the PPC of the course, a considerable portion said they did not consult it and a smaller group said they did not know it. Given the importance of this theme, it is suggested, for the next elaboration of the political project of the course, greater attention to CAH in the disciplines' syllabuses and, during the next pedagogical journey, a moment for discussion on this subject, taking into account some action to work on interdisciplinarity.
