摘要:The main objective of this work is to evaluate the availability of information on native fruit species for the Atlantic Forest biome. For this, we systematically reviewed the literature available in the free Google Scholar database (2014 - 2021). Specifically, we seek to answer: (i) how often fruit-bearing species native to the Atlantic Forest has been studied in recent years; (ii) what are the approaches of these studies regarding the methodology or technique of data collection and which Brazilian regions do they come from; (iii) what are the most frequently cited species After screening the data, only 18 studies were considered in the analysis of this work. The places that obtained more studies were: Paraná and So Paulo (South and Southeast regions of Brazil). The years with the most publications on the subject were 2014 and 2017. The most used methodology in the studies was the experimental one. The species that appeared most in the studies were: Passiflora spp. (passion fruit), Inga spp. (ingá), Campomanesia spp. (guabiroba) and Annona spp. (araticum) and the most common type of use as human food (in natura fruits, juices, pies, sweets, liqueur, cachaa, preserves, jellies, frozen pulp, etc.). Studies that include native species in their entirety can contribute to a better understanding of the biodiversity of the Atlantic Forest, a rich and at the same time highly threatened biome.
