摘要:The following article presents a description of the characterizations of some of the Methodological Trends in Mathematics Education, namely: Problem Solving, Ethnomathematics, Mathematical Modeling, Games and Concrete Materials, Information and Communication Technology (ICT) and History of Mathematics. The objective is to provide students of Mathematics Degrees and teachers in continuing education with reflections on the different theoretical-methodological conceptions for the teaching of Mathematics and increase their knowledge about the planning and teaching activities of Mathematics in Basic and Higher Education. The methodological precepts of a bibliographical research were used, gathering the concepts referring to six of the main trends in Mathematics Education. The proposal resulting from this research, intends to arouse students' interest in what is being worked on, thus, the results were expressed to glimpse possibilities of organizing teaching methods based on the productions of the field of Mathematics Education, in order to produce an attractive and with visible meanings in teaching.
