摘要：The objective of this work was to evaluate the Arroio Fundo basin, located on the left bank of the So Francisco Verdadeiro River, in the municipalities of Quatro Pontes, Marechal Candido Rondon and Pato Bragado, in the extreme west of Paraná, a region that is one of the largest producers of water. farmed fish in the country. The morphometric characterization of the Microbasin was carried out, as well as the location, mapping and quantification of the excavated ponds using geotechnologies. The microbasin has an area of 221.7 km2, has an elongated profile and low risk of flooding, and 1,038 excavated ponds were mapped, most of them small, totaling an area of 226 hectares of ponds. The largest agglomerations of excavated ponds are located in the region below the microbasin, close to its mouth. Georeferencing tools were efficient for locating, mapping and quantifying areas and agglomerations of fish farming units, and can be important for use in environmental analysis and in the fish farming production chain, by public and private managers.
