摘要:Introduction: The rate of children with congenital heart disease is only increasing. This anomaly is characterized by abnormalities in the structure and development of the heart, causing failure in its functions, resulting from changes in the baby’s embryonic development during pregnancy. Objective: To analyze the perception of nurses in relation to the care provided by the nursing team to newborns with heart disease, according to the literature, through research. Methodology: This is a literature review study, with the purpose of systematically organizing the results obtained through the research. Result: The work of nurses during the care process was identified in the study, highlighting the importance of being on the triage line when receiving the RN with heart disease, performing adequate nursing care, which in the face of the implementation of a nursing care system with processes of nursing with intervention, patient assessment and identification of signs and symptoms that lead to early diagnosis. In addition, the main risk factors that lead to newborn deaths can be exemplified. Conclusion: It is concluded that the Systematization of Nursing Care is responsible for the production and care line of the nursing team, coordinates the care process and improves care so that the care plan is monitored, risk factors identified and the early diagnosis of congenital heart disease with the multidisciplinary team.
