摘要:This study aimed to evaluate the shear strength of a RelyX U200 self-adhesive resin cement and a RelyX ARC conventional resin cement bonded to enamel and dentin. The crowns of 20 bovine incisors were divided into four groups (n=5), according to the substrate and type of resin cement used: enamel-phosphoric acid-ARC, dentin-phosphoric acid-ARC, enamel-U200, and dentin- U200. The specimens of size one × 2 mm were prepared with composite resin and cemented according to the respective groups. The micro shear test was performed after seven days of immersion in distilled water in a universal mechanical testing machine with a 20 kg load cell. The results were analyzed with one-way Anova non-parametric Kruskal-Wallis test, with differences between groups being evidenced by Dwass-Steel-Critchlow-Fligner (DSCF) test and fractures with a stereoscopic magnifying glass of 40X magnification. The lowest shear strength (MPa) was in the dentin-U200 group. The highest shear strength was observed when conventional resin cement RelyX-ARC was used in enamel and dentin. The mean shear strength was higher for the resin cement RelyX-ARC compared to the RelyX U200 (p 0.05). Most fractures in the D-ARC and E-ARC groups were mixed, and in the D-U200 and E-U200 groups, they were adhesive. It was concluded that the conventional resin cement presented higher values of shear strength than the self-adhesive resin cement, both in enamel and dentin.
