摘要:Introduction: Treponema pallidum pallidum through treatments of mucous membranes (genitalia, its oral and rectum) containing spirochetes from an infected individual to others by intimate contact”. The objective of this work is to map the epidemiological profile of acquired syphilis, notified in DATASUS, in the State of Rio Grande do Norte/RN, in the years 2019 and 2021. Methodology: The present epidemiological profile developed is a study on cross-sectional cases, retroactive to the years of identification acquired in the years 2019 and 221. Results: As they are not based on the present comparative study between the highest rates of involvement of evidence acquired in males, in the age group of 20 - 390 and in the population with a level of schooling from the 5th to the 8th grades of incomplete elementary school and incomplete high school. As for the confirmation for the laboratory diagnosis of 2019, it stood out with 71.7% (n= 1,273) of confirmed cases with laboratory diagnostic parameters; the case cases stood out in 2019 with 35.06% (n= 62) of the cases. Finally, 65.2% (n=1,170) were confirmed through biochemical tests from samples collected. Conclusion: Projects and actions in health education should adopt the competent authorities as a goal of eradicating infections.
