摘要：The European Commission recently presented a proposal for a Directive on the topic of adequate minimum wages. The purpose of the directive is to prompt an upward convergence of national minimum wages, so as to ensure their adequacy in all EU countries. This article aims to analyze the actions included in the draft Directive and evaluate the adequacy of its legal basis, eventually drawing some critical conclusions.
