摘要：This paper aims at putting Hesiod’s book, “Works and Days” where it belongs in the economics literature: at the beginning. There are many reasons why Hesiod’s work has been ignored by economists which are discussed in this paper. Hesiod’s work is examined from the lenses of economic theory, economic history and history of economic thought.
