But in today’s economic climate, most local officials are focused on budget cuts and balancing their agency’s budget. At first glance, updating the General Plan may not seem like a high priority. It’s a costly exercise, and finding the necessary funds can be difficult. However, now is an excellent time to begin updating your General Plan.
