摘要：Sharing knowledge has been identified as an essential element of innovation that brings with it a competitive advantage in economies increasingly centered on knowledge. Considering that organizations behave as markets of knowledge, they should create spaces and places where this exchanging of knowledge can happen, knowing that most cases take place through personal sharing. For many, sharing knowledge can be seen as a process where the creation and transfer of knowledge occurs between its origin and destination within a specific and informal context, pointing out to the fact that often it is not considered "actual work". Usually the context in which the organization operates in co-creation such as universities, development agencies, junior companies, research laboratories, consulting firms, etc., contribute directly to the collective construction of organizational knowledge, which leads to innovation and economic performance. The main objective of this research is to analyze the contribution from emerging Brazilian junior companies as collaborative partners for sharing knowledge and innovation. The study was set up as qualitative and the data were treated with statistical use and presented through mode and the intra-case approach. The results show that junior companies, even with their size of intellectual production, have a collaboration that is distant from the reality for building knowledge and innovation, and they are not an appropriate partner for fostering the economy of knowledge in Brazil.
