摘要:This study aims to determine the condition of student learning outcomes before the application of Jigsaw learning model, attitude condition and students involvement in the process of Jigsaw learning model, and determine the condition of student learning outcomes after application of Jigsaw learning model on the sociology subject in XI IPS SMA Negeri 1 Burau East Luwu Regency. This research is a class action research with mixing methods and using purposive sampling. Data collection techniques were documention and participatory observation. The result showed that conventional learning models can not increase student engagement in learning and the average student learning outcomes only reached 70,44. Jigsaw cooperative learning model can improve collaboration, response/initiative, caring, responsibility, discipline, and attitude toleration of students. After the implementation of Jigsaw learning model in first cycle and the second cycle, the results of student learning on the subjects of sociology increased to 79,44.
