摘要：This study aims to (1) improve the quality of the biology learning process through the application of jigsaw cooperative learning, (2) improve students 'learning activity through the application of jigsaw cooperative learning, and (3) increase students' competence achievement (cognitive, affective, and psychomotor) through the application of jigsaw cooperative learning. This study is a classroom action research (PTK) conducted in class XII IPA 2 on the concept of photosynthesis. This research was conducted for three cycles. The result of the research shows that (1) the students should be able to improve their learning activity through jigsaw cooperative learning, (2) the teacher can make cooperative learning as one of alternative learning model in teaching and learning process in school, (3) the need to build partnership among teachers in developing various learning models.
