摘要：This study aims to improve learning outcomes in learning by using the STAD type cooperative learning method in class XII IPA 1 Pitumpanua 1 on Wajo District. This research is Classroom Research (PTK) using the Cooperative learning type STAD method that goes through 2 cycles. Cycle I in September 2015 and Cycle II in November 2015. Factors to be investigated are the factors of teachers, students and learning. In this study conducted by the Kemmis and Taggart methods includeplanning activities, implementing actions, and reflection. Data collection techniques includediagnostic tests, interviews, observations, and field notes. The results showed that the STAD type of cooperative learning method can show the learning outcomes of students with an average learning outcome before improvement is 47.65, after the first cycle is 68.53 and after the second cycle is 82.06.
