其他摘要:The objective of this research was to study the school mental health (SMH) program in Bangkok metropolitan schools and to provide the success factors of the effectiveness of the program. A qualitative research was used in this study using in-depth interview, non-participatory observation and a review of the program’s document. Key informants included 6 members of SMH team, 20 school staff and 60 pairs of students and their parents. Results showed that success factors of SMH program included: (1) a school psychologist works at school collaboratively with students, parents and all staff in school, hospital and other institutes that was related, (2) a child and adolescent psychiatrist provides a service in school, (3) a multidisciplinary case conference was set in the school setting to discuss and plan for a child’s problem, (4) all school staff were coached about mental health problem in child by professional in SMH team. Moreover, they were trained while working together with a school psychologist, the last factor, (5) a fund for SMH program could be supported by the Bangkok metropolitan administration, government agency or private agency. These factors were identified as the strength of SMH program in Bangkok metropolitan schools, so these are the key factors of SMH program effectiveness.
