其他摘要:The objectives of this research were 1) to compare the level of students’ English reading comprehension before and after being taught through SQ3R reading model of grade 9 students in Bansuanjananusorn School, Chonburi 2) to observe the students’ reading behaviors through SQ3R reading model of grade 9 students in Bansuanjananusorn School, Chonburi. The subjects consisted of 29 students from Mattayomsuksa 3/1 of Bansuanjananusorn School in Chonburi. The research was conducted in the second semester of academic year 2018. Cluster random sampling was utilized to get this group of subjects. The research instruments were 1) 6 lesson plans designed under SQ3R reading model 2) 2 reading comprehension parallel test papers comprising 30 objective-type items each 3) 5-itemed observation forms to record the subjects’ reading behaviors. This research was designed using one-group pretest-posttest design. The statistics were percentage, mean score, standard deviation and t-test (dependent). The results of the study were: 1. The posttest scores of students’ English reading comprehension after being taught through SQ3R reading model was significantly higher than the pretest scores at the .05 level. 2. The students’ reading behaviors through SQ3R reading model was at the excellent level.
