其他摘要:This study aimed to evaluate the curriculum of a Ph.D. program in counseling psychology, the Faculty of Education, Burapha University. A mixed methods approach was used, including the collection of both quantitative and qualitative data. The evaluation covered the following components: the objectives of the curriculum, curriculum structure and content, instructional media, materials, facilities, instructional management, duration of education, learners’ self-development and the effectiveness of learners and graduates. Data were collected by means of a questionnaire from the following groups of people: lecturers, current students, graduates, and employers of the graduates. Data were analyzed by percentage, mean, standard deviation, and content analysis. The results indicated that the highest response rate was from graduates (34.00%), followed by current students (31.90%), employers of the graduates (19.10%) and lecturers (14.90%). The results indicated overall high levels of satisfaction, with mean 4.38, and SD 0.62. For each component, respondents reported a very high level of satisfaction with the objectives of the curriculum and the effectiveness of learners and graduates, and showed a high level of satisfaction with curriculum structure and content, instructional media, materials, facilities, instructional management, duration of education, and learners’ self-development. The highest score was in the objectives of the curriculum and the lowest in facilities. In addition, respondents provided the following suggestions: 1) creating more opportunities for students to have counseling practices at various sites; 2) redesigning the counseling rooms to be more modern; 3) adding more content about abnormal psychology; 4) Improve the course of Cognitive Neuropsychology as an elective subject. Because some students had no background in pathophysiology. This makes it difficult to understand the content. and 5) providing a free online course for graduates to study further.
