其他摘要:Recently, there has been a multitude of methodological alternatives in an attempt to make EFL classroomsmore effective and friendlier to students; nevertheless, they were still not truly motivated to learn. Hence, this article investigated visible and invisible trapsin the boring English classrooms that demotivated both students and teachers. A proposed change is introduced to dismantle such traps in four key roles: students, class materials, learning environments, and teachers. Theories in education such as Three Domains of Learning, Self-Organized Learning Environment (SOLE), and in psychology such as Self-Determination Theory (SDT), Three Forces in Psychology, in combination with 21st Century Skills and Buddhist Dharma should be integrated to bring about a new paradigm. Wherefore, a “blissful classroom” finally emerged as a pragmatic pedagogy in EFL classrooms.
