  • 摘要:In this paper, the classical two-dimensionalHelmholtz transmission problem is reduced to a local boundaryvalue problem by introducing an artificial boundary. A localizedDirichlet-to-Neumann (DtN) mapping is defined on the artifi-cial boundary. Then the variational equations and Galerkinformulation are derived. The effectiveness of the methods isdemonstrated using various numerical examples.
