摘要:AbstractThis paper deals with the possibility of using methods of compressed sensing (CS) in energy critical applications. In the research, we target the field of electrically powered UAV (unmanned aerial vehicle), where only the limited amount of energy is provided for its operation. Although the vehicle is driven autonomously, special kind of wireless sensor network is used for the monitoring purposes. With the help of CS, the number of data to be transmitted to the sink node at the base station over wireless sensor network can be minimized. As a case study, we use CS for monitoring deformation of mains voltage that can be represented by total harmonic distortion. The spectrum of a distorted sine wave is sparse and using of compressed sensing methods is thus meaningful. In order to improve the robustness of the signal reconstruction with respect to the additive noise, we propose to use binary sensing matrix. Results of simulation experiments as well as real mains voltage measurements are presented and discussed.
