摘要：Academic journals periodically face a complex situation: the change of Editor-in-Chief. The complexity lies in the fact that, even if there are established procedures, change means a new phase, with its uncertainties and expectations. I thought, until that for established journals, change should not be a problem. The quality of their committees, the professional dedication of their managing editors, the permanent flow of good articles, indexes as a back-up (or marketing support), and healthy finances can only result in a smooth transition, can’t they? Perhaps my optimism stems from my vision of the position and my experience at Tapuya.
