摘要:To ensure credible deterrence by denial, the North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) and the Canada-US (CANUS) defense relationship needs modernizing. Not only do sensors need to be updated and significant expenditures made, but the entire approach to the defense of North America needs to materially change. We must rethink the domains that require defending and how deterrence by denial moves beyond the current outdated Cold War mindset that evolved in an ad hoc manner.
