摘要：Senior High School students (SMA) or equivalent, that they are living in the transition phase from adolescence to adulthood, unstable is a characteristic of their life, external influences can easily contaminate or affect their lifestyle or their attitudes. It is not uncommon for them to be contaminated with negative attitudes, thus making them do things that lead to delinquency, so it's no wonder we often encounter this in the school world. Therefore counseling guidance teachers have an important role in overcoming acquaintances in school. This type of research is descriptive qualitative. Data collection methods used in this study were interviews, observation and documentation. At the analysis stage there is data collection, data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results of the research on the efforts of the counseling guidance teacher in overcoming the negative behavior of class X students of SMK N 1 Jatoroto are as follows; coaching efforts, supervising efforts, cooperative efforts with homeroom teachers or parents.
