摘要:This study aimed at finding out the degree of applying governance principles on mathematics curricula of basic stage in the capital of Amman, from teachers’ point of view. To achieve the goal of the study a questionnaire was developed. It consisted of (30) items, distributed on three axes (accountability, transparency and participation). Validity and reliability of the questionnaire were assured. The randomsample of the study consisted of (1012) male teachers and (566) femaleteachers, in the first semester of the academic year 2021 / 2022. Means and standard deviations were used to find out the degree of applying governance principles. The findings of the study were as the following: - The mean of the degree of applying governance principles on the first ax (accountability) by the sample subjects was (3.243) and a standard deviation of (0.85) with a medium degree. - The mean of the degree of applying governance principles on the second ax (transparency) by the sample subjects was (2.74) with a standard deviation of (0.93) and a medium degree. - The mean of the degree of applying governance principle on the third ax (participation) by the sample subjects was (3.01) and a standard deviation of (1.06) with a medium degree. In light of the findings, the researchers recommended a number of recommendations, including the use of the questionnaire used in this study by those interested in the principles of governance and their application.
