摘要：The Main Goal Of Conservative Dentistry Is To Conserve The Infected Tooth. Even After Conservation Of The Tooth, Ensuring Longevity Is Important. Failure In Keeping The Tooth Conserved Makes It Prone To Infections, And May Lead To Extraction Of The Tooth. After Performing A Root Canal Treatment A Restoration Has To Be Done To Safeguard The Tooth. Various Materials Are Used As Restorative Materials. Usage Of Suitable Materials For Suitable Teeth And Disease Stage Is The Most Important Task For A Dentist. The Main Objective Of This Study Was To Assess The Knowledge, Awareness And Perception About Post Endodontic Restoration Among Dental Practitioners In Chennai. Materials And Methods: A Questionnaire Containing 15 Questions Was Formulated And Circulated Through Online Google Forms Link. 100 Participants Participated In The Survey. The Responses Were Collected And Imported To Spss Software Version 22.0 And Were Analysed. Results And Discussion: From The Responses Obtained We Can See That, Most Of The Participants Were Doctors Who Have Pursued Their Mds. 86.4% Of The Population Think That Post Endodontic Restoration Should Be Done After The Treatment. 60% Of The Population Think Molar Teeth Do Not Require Restoration. 58.2% Of The Population Say That The Restoration Should Be Done Within 2 Weeks Of Treatment. 78.2% Say Endodontic Posts Are Placed When There Are No Adequate Supporting Structures. 49.1% Say A Dental Post Can Last For 10 To 15 Years. 47.3% Say Gic, Composite, Metal And Amalgam Can Be Used As Restorative Materials. Conclusion: From The Survey Conducted We May Conclude That The Majority Of The Population Is Aware Of The Post Endodontic Restorative Procedures And Other Details. The Limitation Of This Study Was That There Is A Limited Population And Response Bias Was Observed. Further Studies In This Field May Lead To Creating More Awareness And Usage Of More Common Techniques In Post Endodontic Restorations.
