摘要:Instagram, with more than 1 billion active users is becoming one of the eminent marketing platform that is being used by micro businesses to share andpromote their services and products. This paper aims at studying the vital role that Instagram as a social media marketing (SMM) advertising tool is contributing towards the increasing number of micro business units in India.A qualitative study comprising of six profiles from Instagram have been selected as a part of purposivesampling in order to find the best information which is followed by their success stories.Micro Businesses which are actively engaged on Instagram eitherby sharing stories, feeds or posting customer’sopinion were able to increase sales, followers leading to higher amounts of profit and that too at ease.This study is anarrative attempt to look into thesuccess stories of micro business units from various segments in India.
