摘要：The aim of this study is to evaluate patient satisfaction with fixed prosthesis following placement and to assess the oral health and oral hygiene practices awareness by survey questionnaire. Material and Methods: A Cross-sectional, descriptive study was conducted in an institution, on randomly selected individuals. The study group consisted of adult patients who attended the outpatient Department of Prosthodontics from June 2019- March 2020.4500 case sheets were evaluated and Chi-square test and frequency analysis was used to explore the relationship between two variables. Results: There is more prevalence of fixed partial denture prosthesis in the age group 51-60 years(24.04%). Fixed partial denture is treatment of choice for males(59.62%). The mean value and standard deviation for the OHIP evaluation are summed up in There was a statistically significant difference when correlating gender with food entrapment, avoiding food, dissatisfaction in life using chi square test(value-0.023). Conclusion: Theauthors found that patients with FPDs have a high level of satisfaction in terms of aesthetics and function, as well as a favorable impact on the patients' dental health, based on the findings. However, the findings of this study needed to be compared to those of other studies on diverse populations with greater sample sizes.
