摘要:The development of requesting skills is a critical area of intervention for young children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). These skills are essential in the development of autistic children's connections, friendships, and learning. Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) has proven successful in teaching children with ASD requesting skills and other essential abilities. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of applied behavioral analysis (ABA) in enhancing the requesting skills of children with an autism spectrum disorder. The data indicated an increase in the capacity to interact with peers, requesting with eye contact, spontaneous request without prompt, imitation and vocal interaction also the data indicated a decrease the problem behavior of shouting, carrying and hitting. The research indicates that applied behavioral analysis treatment improves requesting skills through sharing, accepting the item provided, and engaging with peers during activities as well helpful to decreases the problematic behavior in a child.
