摘要:Procedures before surgery and anesthesia and separation of the child from the parents in order to perform anesthesia and surgery are important and common problems in pediatric anesthesia. The aim of this study was to investigate the relationship between body mass index and female students. This descriptive-correlational study was performed on 110 female children. What is certain is that with age, people's abilities decrease. These abilities, both motor and cognitive, can be deficient at different levels for a variety of reasons. The speed of mental rotation seems to decrease with age. However, if attention is paid to time, accuracy and precision, reaction time should not be considered as an effective factor, reaction time may be an important functional element in real-world situations such as walking along the moving environment. Several studies have examined the positive effect of movement. Spatial ability is an important component of fluid intelligence. The instruments used included the Sheffard and Metzler (1978) mental rotation questionnaire, a digital scale, and a gauge. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, ETA correlation coefficient and Chi-square test, independent t-test and Spss 18. The results of ETA coefficient showed that there is no significant relationship between body mass index and mental rotation in active students (p> 0.02).But there is a significant relationship between body mass index and mental rotation in inactive students (p <0.02).
