摘要：Clustering of autoimmune disease is a common presentation. There are reports showing diabetes mellitus - type one and juvenile idiopathic arthritis exist together. ut existence of type one diabetes and systemic subtype of juvenile idiopathic arthritis together is rare. Commonly Systemic Juvenile idiopathic arthritis occurs first and then diabetes mellitus develops. It is rare to see diabetes mellitus occurring first followed by the presentation of systemic juvenile infantile arthritis. Here We will be describing a case of a 12-year-old girl, Who first presented with type one diabetes and was later diagnosed with systematic juvenile infantile arthritis after a period of one month. Since she was a diabetic we had to taper the steroids earlier andShe was started on a A daily regimen of Anakinra ( IL 1 blocker ), After which she started experiencing inflammatory symptoms hence was started on Low-dose oral Prednisone ,following which her symptoms are controlled.
