  • 摘要:Nanotechnology is the branch of science which deals with the examination of materials in nano range, generally between 1 to 100 nm. This technology has been used in the fields of optics, electronics, and biomedical and materials sciences. Green chemistry approach is significant for the future prospect of nanomaterials. Zinc oxide nanoparticles play a vital role in diagnostics, biomolecular detection, and microelectronics. The plant abstract and zinc oxide nanoparticles are prepared and visual changes are observed. Anti diabetic activity was observed and antioxidant activity, against positive control ascorbic acid was observed. The results were analysed. Zinc oxide nanoparticles exhibited an inhibitory effect on the enzyme in a dose-dependent manner and when the dose was increased, correspondingly % inhibition increased. The radical scavenging property of the Zinc oxide nanoparticles, when compared with the standard ascorbic acid, increases with respect to the increase in concentration of ascorbic acid, the highest % of inhibition is seen at 50 µl. Hence, Zinc oxide nanoparticles can be potent therapeutic agents in several biomedical applications, which are yet to be explored in the near future.
