摘要:The use of traditional plants for wound healing has gained attention by the scientific community. One of those includes Stevia and Alampattai. The banyan tree (Ficus benghalensis) is known to have diverse medicinal properties of South Asian in origin, which is often considered as a sacred tree.It has have significant anti-inflammatory, antipyretic, analgesic, anti-oxidant, antimicrobial properties. Stevia is a shrub which is known to be a natural sweetener and is considered to be sweeter than sucrose. The leaf part plays a significant role in antimicrobial, analgesic, antihypertensive, anti-inflammatory properties. On the other hand, nanoparticles have wide fields of interest and AgNp has unique physical, biological, and chemical properties. To evaluate the wound pathogen control using silver nanoparticles and herbal formulation of Stevia and Alampattai. Materials and methods: Preparation of Alampattai and Stevia mediated silver nanoparticles was followed by antibacterial activity Results and discussion: Alampattai and Stevia mediated silver nanoparticles exhibit significant antibacterial properties. Conclusion:From the study, it has been concluded that Silver Nanoparticle mediated herbal preparation of stevia and ficus showed a good antibacterial activity against Pseudomonas and S aureus. Antibacterial activity was well observed in S aureus at a higher concentration with a maximum zone of inhibition. The zone of inhibition increased with the increase in concentration.
