  • 摘要:The main aim of this study is to evaluate the effect of Antimicrobial activity and embryonic toxicology evaluation of Mucuna pruriens induced Titanium oxide nanoparticle Introduction: Mucuna pruriens (Fabaceae) is a herbal drug used for the management of male infertility, nervous disorders, and also as an aphrodisiac. Degrading organic contaminants and germs. As a UV-resistant material. Manufacture of printing ink, self-cleaning ceramics and glass coating. The main aim of this study is to evaluate the effect of Antimicrobial activity and embryonic toxicology evaluation of Mucuna pruriens induced Titanium oxide nanoparticles. Materials and methods: The plant extract of Mucuna pruriens was incorporated with Titanium oxide nanoparticle after which the mixture was kept in a shaker and the readings were recorded using photometry. The mouthwash was prepared by incorporating the Mucuna pruriens induced Titanium oxide nanoparticle with the mixture of sucrose, sodium benzoate,SLS and distilled water. Zebrafish embryos were collected from the aqua laboratory. Antimicrobial activity was done by preparing antimicrobial plates containing Staphylococcus aureus, E. faecalis, candida albicans and streptococcus mutans. Results: In this study, zebrafish embryos were treated with TIO2 NP’s during 24–96 hour post fertilization (hpf). The results showed that TiO2 nanoparticles instigated no toxicity in these embryos, did not cause any mortality, faster hatching, and complete formation of the fish. This study also shows that nanoparticle based mouthwash has good antimicrobial activity against most of the oral microorganisms especially enterococcus faecalis proving mucuna pruriens induced TiO2 nanoparticle to be an effective antimicrobial agent. Conclusion: This study is one of the first reports on antimicrobial activity and toxicology evaluation of zebrafish embryos caused by Titanium oxide nanoparticles in aquatic environments. Our results show that exposure of titanium oxide nanoparticles is not toxic to embryonic zebrafish at lower concentrations. The results will contribute to the current understanding of the antimicrobial and biomedical toxicological effects of nanoparticles and support the safety evaluation and synthesis of titanium oxide nanoparticles.
