  • 摘要:Bonding to enamel has been among the foremost significant advancements in dentistry within the past 50 years. Nevertheless, bonding to tooth structure may be a relatively new phenomenon. The aim of this study is to evaluate the knowledge awareness and perception of Dental students about various enamel bonding agents. Material and methods: A convenience sampling method was used. A questionnaire was prepared which consisted of 10 questions relating to the awareness of enamel bonding agents .The type of questions were close ended. Data collection and interpretation was done by innovative technology and innovative techniques. The statistical analysis was done using SPSS software.Chi square type of analysis was also done to assess the correlation. The results were represented with a pie chart and bar diagram. Results: In the study 53% were female and 47% were male. 27.7% were BDS III year students, 22.8% were BDS II, 21.8% were BDS IV, 15.8% were BDS I year and 11.9% were PG students. 72.3% of the respondents were aware of enamel bonding agents while 27.7% were not aware. statistical significance P < 0.05. Finally, the result was presented by using bar charts, pie charts and percentage tables. Conclusion: The study concludes that Bond + Desensitiser is one of the best enamel bonding agents and is being used among dental students on a large scale due to its availability though the knowledge of usage of these agents among dental students are less and more awareness studies stating its usage and benefits should be done.
