摘要:The investigators conducted a study on high school students in the Salem district of Tamilnadu, India in relation to certain specified characteristics. Studies on the relationship between student’s and teacher’s mathematical aptitude and academic accomplishment are equally essential since they affect classroom learning and the development of desirable behaviour. The normative survey method was adopted in this study to collect the data. The sample consisted of 669 high school students ’t’ test and ‘r’ value were used to analyses the data. The findings revealed that there is significant correlation between Mathematical Aptitude and Achievement in mathematics respect to background variables: Locality, type of school and type of family of high school students. It was found that there is no significant correlation between Mathematical Aptitude and Achievement in mathematics with respect to variables, namely gender, locality, type of management and type of family of high school students.
