  • 摘要:Pachinko is the novel that expresses the sufferings of Asian Diasporas as immigrants inside Asian countries itself. This novel expresses the burden suffered by a Korean immigrant family in Japan over four generations. The Identity crisis, identity loss and inequality faced by the main characters are knotted with other characters. The novel also states the misery of the main characters Sunja, Noa, Mozasu as refugees in a different land. Identity crisis, identity loss, and sufferings are expressed in this novel. Their identity to follow a religion is also one of the main focus on identity.
