摘要：Marginalization means excluding individuals, communities or races from situations of Powerlessness Within a group or community. It is a multifaceted phenomenon driven by social and cultural beliefs, Economic stratification and sexism. Inequality is commonly seen as the inferiority of men to Women in patriarchal societies. But the dichotomous study of gender marginalization completely Ignores the plight of the third sex, transgender people. Mahesh Datani’s book Seven Steps to Fire tells The story of the tragic life of the Hijra community in India. Real life Hijras are discriminated against, Rejected or ignored by their family and society, but they are seen as socially marginalized, hungry for Family and love. This drama also shows the traditional attitude of the upper, working and lower classes Of India towards homosexuality. Society does not believe that transgender people as human beings. There is no place for new races or no place for convention.
